KONAMI RPG STARS CLOSING!
OKAY! KONAMI RPG STARS IS CLOSING ON THE 30TH! Sad that they are going bye-bye, yes, but they are going out with a bang! They will be giving out loads of prizes such as wallscrolls, boxed sets, CDs, gift cards, art books and even a Lunar Knights poster signed by the producer of the game, Kensuke Yoshitomi as well as Hideo Kojima! Get cracking on the quests, because the people who have a chance at the poster must finish every single one of the closing quests! Good luck to everyone!

ANIME CONVENTIONS

Since it's summer, it's also convention season! It doesn't look like I'll be going but I'm hoping that the rest of you will all have fun at one (or five)! If anybody happens to be cosplaying as a Boktai character, it would be great if you will allow us to post a photo of you in costume (but please no photos of others since we cannot get their consent!).

I will also have a listing of conventions and who is going, so people will be able to contact other Boktai and Lunar Knights fans who will be attending. Please note me if you want your name on the list! Also, please note that by putting yourself on the lists you will be doing so AT YOUR OWN RISK. As much as I'd like to help bring people together, it's more important that no one gets hurt, so please also realize that I will not be taking blame for any accidents that occur from this, as you don't need to put yourself on the lists in the first place, even if you are going. Please use common sense and caution when contacting people, especially those you have not met before. Please also note that I cannot block anonnymous people from viewing this page or the con lists. Again, you are doing this AT YOUR OWN RISK. My apologies for the harsh warnings, but better safe than sorry when it comes down to it. Convention lists will be at the bottom of the journal for anyone still interested.

Hello everyone! We finally have an update!

MOVIES
As quite a few of you know, Sabata and Django's (as well as Sartana's) names came from protagonists of Speghetti Westerns. (For those of you that haven't seen any of them yet, go give 'em a shot!) Now a new version of Django is being produced under the genre of "Sukiyaki Western"!

FANWORKS UPDATE
Also, I've needed to address the fact that this club is for fans, not just fanart, I will happily accept fanfiction and any other art form into this club (so long as it does not break any rules already set in place by the site administration)! I will also be happy to accept any ideas for contests, prizes, new group activities or anything else you might have on your mind!

After some thought, I've decided that I will also allow entries centered around Boktai and Lunar Knights fan characters. These entries will be tagged with "(OC)" in their title lines. The only new rule I will tag to these is the fact that I will not post up entries that depict a Mary Sue or a Gary Lou (aka Marty Sam). As fun as these my be for the creator to do, most of the fans of a series tend to not find them enjoyable. Entries into the club for original characters will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Even if I can't accept all entries into this area, I also cannot keep you from posting those characters on your own page. Please do not take it personally if I do not accept an OC submission. I am only human and am doing the best I can with a single brain.

Explanation of MSes: For those unfamiliar, Mary Sues and the like are generally super-powerful characters that tend to be embodiments of the author and are placed into stories and art for the sake of the author to fulfill a fantasy of some sort (generally to either save the world single-handedly or to cause one or many characters to fall in love with them).


LETTERS
On another note, the letters to Konami are best as something that continues on. They won't truly know that we enjoyed playing the Boktai and Lunar Knights games if we never tell them! Therefore, if anyone wishes to scan or send this club their letter, we will happily post it as a deviation. Perhaps your letter will be able to inspire others to write their own! MEMBERLISTS
Lastly, it is important that members of this club have us on their watch list! It is the simplest way for me to keep track of members as well as the quickest way to keep everyone informed! Anyone who wants to be a member but is not watching will not be put on the member list until they do so! Why? It becomes difficult to keep track of everyone otherwise!
